Overview
Not sure this is the right route? A consultant can review your profile and explain your options.
Check your eligibilityA work permit lets you work legally in another country, whether for a short-term role or as the start of a longer career abroad. Most start with an employer. A company abroad offers you a role, confirms it is allowed to hire you, and completes its own steps with the government. You then apply on the strength of that offer. Your permission to live and work there is usually tied to that employer, that role and sometimes that location.
Many European countries recruit workers from outside the EU in healthcare, construction, hospitality, engineering, IT, logistics, manufacturing and the skilled and unskilled trades. Germany focuses on recognised qualifications. Poland and Romania use employer-led work permits, Portugal issues work visas against a job contract, and Hungary now offers only limited, temporary permits. Malta, Croatia, Lithuania, Slovakia and other EU states run their own systems. We also advise on employer-led routes in Ireland, the Netherlands, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA.
A job offer is often a practical way to move abroad. It is also an area where fraud is common. Fake offers arrive by WhatsApp, social media and email, often followed by a request for money. We start by checking the offer and the employer before you sign anything or pay anyone. We then explain which route the offer fits, what the employer has to do, and what you need to prepare in the country where you live. These routes change often, and the government makes every decision. Our role is to help you understand the requirements and submit a complete, accurate application.
